Both GIS-based and static mapsEverything you ever wanted to know about Utah's patch of the Earth in detail.For example, in the Interactive Geologic Map, it has this to say about the particular bit of land underneath us in Silvercreek: "Qaeo: Older alluvial and eolian deposits (Holocene to upper Pleistocene)Moderately sorted gravel, sand, and silt deposited in small channels and on alluvial flats, and well-sorted, fine- to medium-grained, reddish-brown eolian sand locally reworked by alluvial processes; younger deposits (Qae) form active depositional surfaces, whereas older deposits (Qaeo) typically form incised, inactive surfaces; as much as about 20 feet (6 m) thick."
